FAQs

Do I need a Dr.’s referral to book an appointment?

We do not require that you have a doctor’s referral. However, a few insurance plans still require a doctor prescription. You can call your insurance company to find out or provide us with your coverage information and we would be happy to find out for you.

What should I expect from physiotherapy?

You can expect a detailed exam with a specific treatment plan. Goal is 8-12 sessions then a detailed home exercise program will be provided.

What is the difference between physiotherapy and chiropractic care?

Physiotherapists typically will focus more on the muscles. Once pain is under control, the goal is to restore movement then strengthen to restore function. Chiropractors focus on joint subluxations and help restore joint movements via joint manipulations. Sometimes concurrent care is effective in controlling your pain and restoring function.

If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us, either by phone or by email and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
